These wood valences were commissiond by a couple who had original photos and paintings of urban landscapes throughout their house. I felt steel valences were too harsh for their decor and suggested I create wood ones on a theme of abstract urban landscapes. A variety of woods were used, oak, walnut, pine, birch, poplar...
