Directions to the Neighborhood Sculpture Walk

The Neighborhood Sculpture Walk is located in the Wilmont subdivision of Raleigh, North Carolina. (west-central part of Raleigh) This is just inside the I-440-Beltline around the city. The walk is just east of Meredith College and just north of Hillsborough St, near NC State University.

The EASIEST way (not necessarily the shortest way) to get to the Sculpture Walk is to take the I-440 Beltline to the Hillsborough St. exit. Head east, (towards downtown) on Hillsborough St. past Meredith College on your left. You will come to a large intersection with a Crown Gas Station on your left and a BP station and an Applebee’s Restaurant on your right. Stay on Hillsborough St and go to the next light. You’ll see International Auto on your left and The Reader’s Corner Bookstore on your right. Turn Left (north) onto Shepherd St. Go one and a half blocks on Shepherd St. Turn Left onto Merriman Ave and look for the Yellow Flying Machine on your right. You’ll be pretty sure you’re in the right neighborhood then.
