Love Seat Bench
The first Love Seat was made as a Valentine's Day present
for my wife in 2000. I can make you a bench similar
to this one, but, I sure cannot risk my life selling
you this very one! Notice it not only has four legs
underneath to hold it up, it has four legs of the two
people underneath as well. The heads are removable for
shipping--also this makes a good sign for me if she
is unhappy about something--I'll walk by and see my
head's been taken off. I know to keep on walking for
a while and quietly go back in my studio. For the record,
I seldom wear a necktie and she wears heels and pearls
even less, but you get the idea... Made all in steel
and sandblasted and powder coat painted in BRIGHT RED.
The first two photos here are of a love seat commissioned for Jim and Barbara Goodmon in 2005. It is slightly longer and deeper than the original one in the last two photos.
