Made as a Christmas present for my wife one year. A climbing hydrangea and some other vines are on it now. This forms the backdrop to our “aviary” in the garden—the area where we keep most of my bird sculptures.
The peacock itself was made from a shovel, electric motor parts and the texture added by deliberately setting the welding machine wrong to create spattered steel on the surface. Three pictures below.
