Note—Joy did not think we’d need the camera just to go out to supper at the seafood restaurant, so we have no pictures of that. Maybe, I can get some pictures from other people who went along and post them later.
BUT—I forgot to even write about the banquet the evening of Dec 16 in the art warehouse next to our work space—it is sort of like a smaller Art Space in Raleigh—so here are some pictures from that. I especially liked the little dog sculpture whose head was made from a fan that turned. There was also sculpted food, and a lady who dyed silks who insisted we have our picture taken with them and take a silk scarf.
Two handed calligraphy is common—I did not know that.
