A Giant Grouper Mailbox
Two photos of a spectacular and large fish mailbox made for an avid fisherman. A standard LARGE size steel mailbox has steel bands around it, steel side fins and tail. The box is welded to 2 inch steel pipe sunk into 80 lbs of concrete in the ground and the pipe itself is surrounded by a steel tableau of fish, weeds, and a frog. The inside is painted pink with white ribs; the lutside is powder coat painted. The steel red fish acts as the "postal flag." Decorated further with lots of reflector dots. Private commission.
