Scrap steel, harrow disc, paint, 3 ft high
(1995 SOLD)
This very elegant fountain was sold to a private garden in Fearrington, NC. The picture shown here was taken in my studio before the piece was installed. The plow points forming the legs/stand rest on rocks in the pond; a central water pipe, hidden from view by the upright plow points in the middle of the fountain, carries water to the top at low pressure allowing the water to run out over the upside down harrow disc and flow back down in a veil onto the lower harrow disc which is filled with polished river rocks. The steel circle encompassng the whole design is from an old satellite TV dish.
