Designed for a couple renovating a home and garden. He is an ecologist who likes dragonflies and she likes irises. The first picture is the concept drawing—two damselflies embracing and dancing in the moonlight over cattails and wild irises. The embracing damselflies form the outline of one dragonfly. There are two relatively plain side panels that not only keep the trellis upright, but will be the actual area where the clematis or whatever vines will climb, so the main design is not obscured so much.
