Originally designed to straddle a garden path or entryway (it is shown here over a path in the North Carolina Botanical Gardens),
The side panels are to be used as trellises for annual blooming vines.
Last spring, it was taken down to Lisa Treadaway’s The Little Herb House Nursery, south of Raleigh for what was to be a brief exhibition. As soon as it was set up, Lisa and I both knew this piece had found a home. It is perfect there.
