The Air Port Bench was commissioned in memory of a local pilot.
The bench is placed in a children's park and has several coats of clear
coating to deal with little kids using their toy planes on the "runway"
seat. I tried to capture magic of how I felt at 5 when I was taken to a small airport by my grandfather to watch the planes.
